VP CORPORATE & MARKET STRATEGY

 

Nicol has dedicated his career to the Life Sciences and Biotechnology industries. Nicol joined Astrea Bioseparations as Vice President Corporate & Market Strategy in October 2023. During a thirteen year career in Thermo Fisher Scientific, he held several global Marketing and Communications roles, leading brand, product and digital marketing strategy, living in Europe and the United States. Nicol is passionate about the colleague experience and served on the leadership teams of the Carlsbad site and a generational employee resource group.

Prior to Thermo Fisher Scientific, Nicol worked at Genetix PLC, acquired by Danaher Corp., in global product management roles leading product strategy and market development.

Nicol has a Ph.D. in cell biology from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Aberdeen.
